General Manufacturing
Our grinding accessories serve the general manufacturing industry with reliable abrasive solutions for component production, surface finishing, and material removal operations across diverse metalworking applications.
SinoGrind offers a complete range of conventional abrasive accessories including corundum grinding wheels, grinding segments, grinding rods, internal grinding wheels, cutting wheels, and double-disc grinding plates.
Our accessories are designed for general manufacturing, metal fabrication, and maintenance applications. All products are available in custom sizes and specifications.
SinoGrind manufactures corundum (aluminum oxide, Al2O3) grinding wheels using premium brown aluminum oxide and white aluminum oxide abrasive grains. These conventional abrasive wheels are available in four bond types for optimal performance in diverse grinding applications.
Ceramic vitrified bond wheels feature an open porous structure for cool grinding and high material removal on steel and cast iron. Resinoid bond wheels provide fast cutting action for snagging and heavy-duty rough grinding. Metal bond wheels offer maximum wheel life and form retention for precision form grinding. Rubber bond wheels deliver excellent surface finish for precision finishing and cutoff operations.
Grinding segments are rectangular abrasive blocks designed for use with surface grinding machines. They provide efficient material removal on flat surfaces and are commonly used in heavy-duty grinding operations in foundries, steel mills, and metal fabrication shops.
Resin bond segments offer efficient material removal with good surface finish on most ferrous metals. Ceramic bond segments provide higher material removal rates with excellent coolant flow through the porous bond structure, ideal for high-production surface grinding. Magnesite (magnesium oxychloride) bond segments are a traditional bonding system offering hard, rigid construction with good heat resistance — widely used for grinding cast iron, steel, and non-ferrous metals.
Grinding rods are cylindrical abrasive tools used for internal grinding, precision grinding, and slot grinding applications. They are essential accessories for internal grinding machines and CNC cylindrical grinders.
Our grinding rods are available in various diameters and lengths with consistent abrasive grain distribution for uniform surface finish.
Internal grinding wheels are specially designed for grinding the inner surfaces of cylindrical workpieces, including bores, holes, and internal diameters. They are critical components for internal grinding machines.
SinoGrind internal grinding wheels offer excellent concentricity and balance for high-precision internal grinding operations.
Double-disc grinding plates are used for simultaneous grinding of two parallel flat surfaces. This process provides excellent flatness and parallelism, making it ideal for high-volume production of precision components.
Our double-disc plates are manufactured for maximum material removal rates while maintaining consistent surface finish.
Cutting and slicing wheels are thin abrasive wheels designed for fast, clean cutting of metals and other materials. They are essential tools in metal fabrication workshops and maintenance facilities.
SinoGrind cutting wheels offer high cutting speed with minimal material loss, providing safe and efficient cutting operations.
Choosing the right bond type for your corundum (aluminum oxide) grinding wheel is critical for achieving optimal grinding performance. Each bond type offers distinct advantages depending on your application, workpiece material, and production requirements.
Ceramic vitrified bond (also called porcelain or glass bond) creates an open porous structure in the grinding wheel. This allows excellent coolant flow through the wheel, resulting in cooler grinding temperatures and high material removal rates. Ceramic bond wheels are self-sharpening — as abrasive grains dull, they break away to expose fresh cutting edges. Ideal for: general-purpose grinding of carbon steel, alloy steel, and cast iron on surface grinders, cylindrical grinders, and bench grinders.
Resinoid bond uses an organic phenolic or polyimide resin matrix to hold abrasive grains. This bond is more flexible than ceramic, providing faster cutting action with less heat generation. Resinoid wheels are commonly used for snagging (removing gates, risers, and flash from castings), rough grinding, and heavy-duty material removal. Ideal for: foundry snagging, steel mill operations, and applications where cool cutting and high stock removal are required.
Metal bond uses bronze, brass, or steel matrices to retain abrasive grains. Metal bond wheels offer the longest wheel life and best form retention of all bond types. They are harder and more rigid than resin or ceramic bonds, making them suitable for precision form grinding where maintaining wheel profile is critical. Ideal for: precision form grinding, thread grinding, and applications requiring extended wheel life under heavy grinding loads.
Rubber bond uses a vulcanized rubber matrix that provides a flexible yet strong bond. Rubber bond wheels produce excellent surface finish (Ra 0.4-1.6 µm) with minimal heat generation. They are available in thin sections for cutoff operations and in standard thicknesses for finish grinding. Ideal for: precision finish grinding, polish grinding, tool sharpening, and thin cutoff applications on hardened steels.
Resin bond grinding segments provide efficient material removal on surface grinding machines with good surface finish. Ceramic bond segments offer higher material removal rates with excellent coolant flow through the porous bond structure. Magnesite (magnesium oxychloride, MgO·MgCl2) bond segments are a traditional bonding system that provides hard, rigid segments with good heat resistance — widely used for grinding cast iron, steel, and non-ferrous metals in foundries and steel mills.

SinoGrind corundum grinding wheels are available in four bond types: (1) Ceramic vitrified bond for cool grinding and high material removal on steel and cast iron. (2) Resinoid bond for snagging, heavy-duty grinding, and rough material removal. (3) Metal bond for maximum wheel life and form retention in precision form grinding. (4) Rubber bond for precision finishing, polish grinding, and thin cutoff applications.
Ceramic vitrified bond corundum wheels have an open porous structure providing excellent coolant flow and high material removal rates with self-sharpening action. SinoGrind manufactures grinding segments in three bond types: resin bond for efficient material removal, ceramic bond for precision flat grinding, and magnesite (magnesium oxychloride) bond for grinding cast iron, steel, and non-ferrous metals. Segments are available in various dimensions for compatibility with standard surface grinders.
Magnesite bond (magnesium oxychloride, MgO·MgCl2·H2O) is a traditional ceramic bonding system used in grinding segments. It provides a hard, rigid bond with good heat resistance and is particularly effective for grinding cast iron, steel, and non-ferrous metals. Widely used in surface grinding applications in foundries and steel mills.
Rubber bond corundum wheels are ideal for precision finishing operations, polish grinding, and thin cutoff applications. The flexible rubber bond provides excellent surface finish (Ra 0.4-1.6 µm) with minimal heat generation. Commonly used for finish grinding of hardened steel tools, gauges, and precision components.
Corundum (aluminum oxide, Al2O3) grinding wheels are designed for grinding ferrous metals including carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and malleable iron. Brown aluminum oxide (A) wheels are best for general-purpose steel grinding. White aluminum oxide (WA) wheels provide cooler cutting for hardened steels and tool steels.
